1,000 Tree Campaign Report (Carroll Park portion)

We are so grateful to the people of Carroll Park for supporting our 1,000 Tree Campaign. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise over $7,000, enough for our first 140-150 trees! Special thanks to Michael Salemi for hosting this challenge and letting us place the surfboards by his tree for 2 months! People were generous both with their financial support, with their fences, with their willingness to share our project on social media, with this time, and with their advice. We can't tell yu how much we appreciate your faith in us!

We will begin planting trees in high-need areas of Long Beach soon. We will let you know when and where we are planting in case you want to lend a hand. As planned, the next leg of the 1,000 Tree Challenge will be taken up by Millikan High School Environmental Club which will be responsible for the next 100 trees.
