Sign up, Accept Challenges and Report Back

When you sign up, you are joining our community of people concerned about climate change. We will convey information to you -- via your favorite means of communication -- about the latest "climate challenges" issued by your Carroll Park neighbors and friends, as well as information on upcoming CP Climate Challenge events. Through the website, and Instagram and Facebook feeds, you can also learn about Long Beach issues, efforts, and resources, tips on how to reduce your carbon footprint and reduce plastic use, and the thoughts and efforts of your neighbors -- from the Greatest Generation to Greta's Generation. We never share your phone number, e-mail address or other information to other individuals or groups.

Typically, the challenge will be texted or emailed to you (whichever you prefer) and you can accept the challenge or not. You can also directly accept active challenges on the website.

Finally, if you have accepted a challenge, we hope you will let us know how it went! Everyone who makes an effort is, of course, a winner. However, we will select one or two individuals who have made an unusual or noteworthy effort. These prized individuals will be honored appropriately!!!
